Alfredo Molano Bravo (1944-2019) fue un sociólogo, periodista y escritor colombiano, reconocido por su labor en la literatura testimonial y la crónica. Sus obras abordan el conflicto armado en Colombia, las luchas campesinas y el desplazamiento forzado. Entre sus libros más destacados se encuentran Los años del tropel: relatos de la violencia (1985), Trochas y fusiles (1994) y A lomo de mula (2011), donde retrata las historias de las comunidades afectadas por la guerra.

Su estilo narrativo combina el rigor del periodismo con la profundidad del análisis sociológico, dando voz a quienes han sufrido el conflicto. Su trabajo ha sido fundamental para la comprensión de la historia reciente de Colombia y ha sido ampliamente reconocido en el ámbito académico y literario.
